As we get closer to wrapping up the school year at the end of this month, I would like to congratulate all UB students on finishing the 23-24 school year!

Get excited! The Spring college tour is this month and the summer application is now open.

On February 24, 1986, a congressional resolution declared that Saturday, February 28, 1986 will be designated as “National TRIO Day.” Every year since then, our community has reserved the fourth Saturday in February as National TRIO Day—an opportunity to focus the nation’s attention on disadvantaged young people and the support they need for success.

Happy New Year Upward Bound! We hope you are enjoying the last few days of your winter break. Reminder that tutoring resumes on Monday, January 8th. As we jump back in, we will be working with our seniors to complete their FAFSA in preparation for our workshop on the 20th.

Hello! We're so excited for this month as we get to enjoy a time of community, care, and celebration! Good luck with final exams and projects, it's a busy time but we know you all will do great. Also, congratulations to our seniors who completed their U of U applications by the priority deadline! We are so proud! Have a lovely winter break!

Hello! Congratulations on finishing 1st quarter. As 2nd quarter starts, remember to keep up on your homework! This month we will be working with our seniors to submit the U of U application and complete success plans. The priority deadline is Dec 1!

WELCOME BACK UB FAMILY! Hello & welcome back to a new school year! We hope you all had a fun enjoyable summer. To those of you re-turning, we’re happy to have you continue with us! To all the brand new UB students, we are thrilled you are join-ing our UB family. Shoutout to those of you that participated in our summer program, we hope you got a little bit of rest before school resumed!

It's the final countdown! Great job for making it to the end of the school year. Congratulations to our seniors! We wish them luck with all their future endeavors and know they'll always be a part of our TRIO family! We can't wait to celebrate with them on the 20th.

Spring is finally here, despite what the weather says about it! Don't let the snow and the rain get you down...the end of the year is right around the corner! Keep pushing for those grades and start prepping for summer academy!

Welcome to March! Spring is nearly here, which is hard to believe with the amount of snow on the ground. We have a lot going on this month, so be watching that calendar! Juniors... check out the application for the college tour. Also, make sure that you see below about grade checks!

It's the month of love, unless your heart has been frozen over by the frigid temperatures in January. We are in the full swing of Term 3, which can be a rough term for students. Make sure to keep up on your homework! We have some fun days in the mix this month, including ACT prep and TRIO day!

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a relaxing and recharging Winter Break and you're ready to tackle Spring semester. January is a prime time to think about setting goals and starting fresh. Think about what you want to accomplish for the year and then make it happen!

As the year comes to a close, and Mariah Carey and Michael Buble haunt every store, coffee shop, and restaurant, make sure to check those college deadlines and keep those grades up! Also, keep showing up to those tutoring sessions!

Hello and Happy Fall to our Upward Bound Family! It's the start of the second term, so make sure that you're keeping up with your grades and attending tutoring! The holidays will be here before you know it.

Congrats! We have finally made it to the end of the school year! Congratulations to all of our Seniors graduating, and good luck to those who will be taking their AP tests this month! Before we close out the end of the year, we do have several updates and announcements.

Don't let the (slightly) warmer weather distract you! The end of the year is right around the corner! Make sure that you keep on studying and participate in Upward Bound events to finish this year off strong!

While love may be in the air (along with whatever is polluting our lungs) please remember to stay on top of your work and show up to class! February will be a quick, but chill, month. So be sure to rest up before the insanity that is March and April arrive!
