About TRIO: TRIO has been a big part of my overall growth and development. Despite the hardships I have faced, TRIO staff always showed compassion and expert guidance in my lifetime. Because of TRIO I started my career in higher education and I'm very grateful that I did!
Hobbies/Interests: Taking dogs to dog parks, especially ones where they can run and enjoy the water.
Interesting Fact: Once officiated a wedding in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada.

Interesting Fact: I once won a sandwich naming contest at a local cafe.

About TRIO: Being a part of a pipeline into postsecondary education is thrilling! Seeing students who come from a similar background as myself and their success in the academy is beyond gratifying.
Hobbies/Interests: Reading and re-reading a good book (like Bell Hook's From Margin to Center or Audre Lorde's Sister Outsider), listening to all things soulful (hip hop, spoken work, opera, etc.), binge watching shows on Netflix, playing volleyball and having a good time. 
Interesting Fact: I coached volleyball at West High school for five years.

About TRIO: Seeing the huge smile on my students face upon achieving their goal 
Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with the Lord and loved ones, arts/crafts, being outdoors (especially the mountains), Danielle Steel books, movies, horseback riding, going for long walks, getting wood, cleaning house, entertaining guests, writing love letters, learning about my family history, cooking, baking, lend a helping hand, making people laugh, I am a Bears, Lakers, Pirates, Utes and Rugby fan.
Interesting Facts: I have two beautiful adult children: a son (UofU student) a daughter (leap year baby). Have 4 siblings: twin brothers, younger brother and a sister. My parents and brothers are Marines, the youngest retired. I had 2 pet alligators. I would like to write a book, visit my brother in Ireland, have a family reunion with ALL my family members, attend Rugby 7s, obtain a MA or Ph.D., take my mom to the Holy Lands, tour the world with my children, buy a house, own a Chevy Camaro and restore a '57 Chevy pickup like my pops had, scuba dive, sky dive and one day sponsor a scholarship. About TRIO: Have worked in TRIO since 1998, first as Upward Bound advisor and then as SSS advisor. I love to hear students stories and their self discoveries. Watching them graduate is immensely heartwarming!
Hobbies/Interests: I love learning (will most likely take classes the rest of my life), drawing/painting, photography, yoga, working out, being active especially outdoors, like to be aware of world events, all kinds of music (maintains my sanity), spending time with family and close friends in person and on social media (since most live far away)
Interesting Facts: Interested in writing a screenplay one day...

About TRIO: TRIO has been a huge impact in my life since my freshman year in high school. They gave me support all throughout high school and now that I made it to the university they still help me out. Without TRIO I wouldn't have made it this far nor would have received any scholarships. I can truly say I have found my second family & great lasting friendships not only with my peers but with the staff. TRIO truly works! 
Hobbies/Interests: Minions, community service, swimming, zumba, music, spending time with my family and friends, and school (even though it stresses me).
Interesting Facts: I can convince people there are ghosts. (I'm a good pranker).

About TRIO:
Trio is a great place to get involved in and familiar with campus activities. There are some amazing support systems here and some even more amazing people!
Hobbies/Interests: I’m seriously addicted to K-Dramas. It’s a problem. Anything to do with being in the woods like hiking and camping. People often say they love the ocean. I’m not an ocean person. It’s pretty, and smells good, but give me sunrise in the mountains and the smell of fresh morning dew and moss any day of the week.
Interesting Facts
My mom and dad met because she got a chicken bone stuck in her throat at a picnic and had to go to the E.R. True story!
