About Student Support Services
Student Support Services (SSS) is an academic success program helping eligible current
or incoming University of Utah students complete their first bachelor’s degree. Funded
by a federal grant to the University, we provide the following services to students
that are first-generation, income-eligible, and/or have a disability.
Our services include:
- Academic advising
- Tutoring
- Course selection and enrollment
- CIS navigation
- Scholarship and financial aid assistance
- Career and major exploration
- Financial literacy information
- Graduate School planning
- Campus resources
- University policy and procedures
- Peer mentoring
- TRIO courses for Math 980, 1010, 1030, and Writing 1010
